Every NP consult is conducted by a Nurse Practitioner with prescribing authority, working alongside our psychotherapy and nursing team. The consult exists to confirm medical fitness — no contraindications, a clear diagnosis, and a treatment plan that makes sense for you.
If PAT isn't the right fit, you'll leave with a clear answer and a recommendation for what is — whether that's continued therapy, a different protocol, or a referral elsewhere.
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy is a Health Canada–approved medication prescribed off-label for certain psychiatric conditions, in conjunction with psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for everyone. The Nurse Practitioner consult exists specifically to determine medical fitness and identify any contraindications before treatment is considered.
